Sandra Wallman

Sandra Wallman is Professor Emerita in the Dept of Anthropology, UCL. She has done field research in Europe and Africa and has published extensively on the application of anthropological theory to policy-relevant issues, including ethnic relations, HIV/AIDS and economic change - lately focusing on migration and diversity within EU networks. Her latest books are The Capability of Places: methods for modelling community response to intrusion and change; and the short story collection Listening for Water.
