Jakob Klein

Jakob Klein is the co-editor of several volumes and special issues on food, including The Handbook of Food and Anthropology; Consumer and Consumed: Humans and Animals in Globalising Food Systems; and Ethical Eating in the Socialist and Postsocialist World. He has recently completed a study of the heritagization of a southwest Chinese goat milk cheese, and is currently researching the Chinese state’s promotion of the potato as a national staple food.
