Henrike Donner is the author of Domestic goddesses: maternity, globalisation and middle-class identity in contemporary India. This book is concerned with socio-economic change and the reproduction of class through institutions like the family and gendered everyday practices. At the moment she is undertaking research into activism and urban space.
