Grégory Deshoulliere is a specialist in the anthropology of Lowland South America. Through fieldwork in Ecuadorian Amazonia, he investigates the collective and personal experiences of managing witchcraft, the conditions of transformation of an esoteric Amerindian tradition, and how village formation and state integration shape different regimes of justice along a neo-colonial frontier.
